Water Resources Archive! Visit the University Archive During National Archives Month

October is Archives Month. The CSU Libraries' Archives and Special Collections department is celebrating by sharing weekly facts about its holdings.

The department documents many historical areas, including CSU, water, agriculture, and more. This week's focus is on the Water Resources Archive.

Did you know...

--the Water Resources Archive documents all aspects of water in Colorado, including the environment, engineering, policy, law and more

--the Archive holds collections of prominent water pioneers such as Ralph Parshall, Robert Glover, and Delph Carpenter

--the Archive provides historical background on current water topics such as groundwater usage on the Plains and drought throughout the West

--a "reservoir" of information about the Archive's holdings can be found on its website, along with numerous digitized items

--you can keep up with the Archive's activities by signing up for "Preserving the Source," an e-newsletter, right from the website
